What does the new world of events look like?
Industry leaders discussed what a new world of events and live experiences could look like post-pandemic, at C&IT's inaugural Festival of Forums.
As part of its inaugural Festival of Forums, C&IT hosted a two-day Agency Leaders Forum at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, July. The event bought together industry leaders to give them the opportunity to share ideas, discuss challenges and meet face-to-face once again.
The pandemic has almost certainly re-oriented everyone’s attention on the importance of face-to-face interaction, but also challenged industry leaders to re-imagine what a new world of events and live experience could look like. The forum allowed the group to reflect on the difficulties of the past few years and share their experiences and plans for the future.
Andrew Perrott, Managing Director at creative experience agency, Chorus found the opportunity to meet and discuss to be hugely beneficial. “It was great to meet in both a confidential and collaborative environment. The opportunity to discuss the issues of the day outside our own organisation is rare, and it was reassuring to hear we are all generally facing the same challenges and had a broadly shared perspective on most subjects.”
