Vertu Motors’ Summer Social united employees and soared company engagement
The UK car dealership ran a Summer Social to connect and recognise its valued employees.
Brief
As the third largest motor retailer currently in the UK, Vertu Motors have just under 8000 colleagues across the company in around 190 dealerships in Scotland, England and Wales. All of Vertu Motors’ central functions including large call centres are based in Gateshead, with some 600 staff on site. The Chief Executive, Robert Forrester, is extremely passionate about bringing job opportunities and development to the North East alongside fostering connection and recognition among employees.
Vertu Motors had had a long-established tradition of the usual Christmas parties; but with recognition as a core value of the company, delivering smaller, more intimate affairs to reward colleagues for their hard work was in order.
