Offshore Decommissioning Conference: The ROI of shifting to hybrid

Oil & Gas UK's annual conference needed a new solution to include delegates nervous of COVID.

Brief

OGUK, a representative body for the UK offshore oil and gas industry, is a not-for-profit organisation, established in April 2007. The OGUK informs, engages with, and champions the UK offshore oil and gas industry as part of a diverse energy mix.

Traditionally its annual Offshore Decommissioning Conference is held in-person, but, although the event went ahead in 2020 it was completely online. And so, the 2021 conference needed to go back to a face-to-face meeting, but the organisation didn’t want to exclude those attending virtually.
