National Geographic Traveller on the role of AI

National Geographic Traveller’s Head of Events discusses the role of AI when creating epic event escapes.

Having achieved a degree in Economics, the world of finance suddenly became less appealing once leaving university. For National Geographic Traveller’s Head of Events, Sabera Sattar, the notion of numbers and coding held less excitement than perhaps once thought, “I couldn’t work with numbers all day, every day and not be creative! I left university not having a clue of what I wanted to do with life so focused on what I loved and enjoyed doing – being around people and creating awesome experiences for them.”

In the summer of graduation, Sabera Sattar began volunteering at the Luton Mela, an annual event celebrating Southern Ancient culture, and realised events had more to them than banking.

“As like every other human being on the planet, I loved to travel and had my own bucket list and goal of travelling to 30 countries before I was 30 - yes I managed to achieve this!”
