In honour of Pride Month, C&IT looks at how many travel programmes actually support LGBTQIA+ MICE travellers.

Recent data from Business Travel Show Europe shows the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodiverse people are among the least well provided for delegates.

In honour of Pride Month 2023, C&IT have sourced data from Business Travel Show Europe that reveals a sharp increase in travel programmes that now provide in-depth consideration for LGBTQIA+ delegates.

262 European travel procurement managers interviewed revealed that 43% of travel programmes (compared to 26% last year) make provision for the LGBTQIA+ community and a further 23% (compared to 8% in 2022) plan to before the year is over.
