Tongsai Bay was discovered by its founder, Akorn, in the 1980’s, who immediately fell in love with the secluded bay on Koh Samui. For three months he slept on its beach, dreaming of the resort he would build there and making sketches of how the villas would be dotted among the trees on the hillside.
