Head of Events for The Roundhouse Trust, Rhian Pressley, discusses the challenges and benefits of moving from profit organisations to non-profit foundations.
1. What led you to working in events within the charity sector?
I began my working life in London in the front of house team at the Natural History Museum on a temporary contract to cover a busy Easter Holiday. I was instantly hooked on the idea of creating amazing experiences for the museum's guests, whilst managing the ever-growing 'Dino-Queue' and ever-diminishing patience of worn out parents!
