CloseNatasha is an events and media strategist, who honed her craft managing a multi-brand events division at Euromoney for over a decade before setting up a consultancy business, Events ETC. She has, in recent years, supported a broad spectrum of clients developing their events and events portfolios from start-ups to multi-facetted media organisations.
Today, Natasha leads strategy for FT Live, the events division of the Financial Times and is passionate about the hybrid opportunity, community building and the evolution of data and technology in product design
Lizzy has 13 years of experience in event management and marketing. She specialises in designing and delivering events and experiential activations for campaigning on global issues, and influencing public policy.
After graduating with a BA Hons degree in Event Management with Marketing from the University of Greenwich in 2010, Lizzy began her career at a medical association, delivering scientific conferences and workshops in the UK and Europe.
After this, she worked as an operations specialist at Informa Group, where she was responsible for the successful delivery of events for up to 8,000 attendees. In 2013 Lizzy took a side-step to gain agency experience and spent almost five years at a prestigious communications consultancy, Portland Communications, where she built the commercial events offering and directed a small team of events and marketing specialists. While at Portland, Lizzy produced events for some of the most recognised global organisations, including AkzoNobel, Apple, Google, Facebook and McDonalds. After progressing to Head of Events & Marketing, Lizzy left Portland in 2018 to start her own agency. Since then, Oddity has received numerous industry awards including Conference News Best Start-Up Agency and MIA Outstanding Team of the Year, both in 2020.
In 2021 Lizzy was recognised in C&IT magazine's Agency A-List, which is an exclusive selection of the top 35 under 35 agency-side event planners in the UK. In 2022, Lizzy was listed in the Micebook Power 50: Inspirational Female Leaders in the events industry.
Tim Smith is Head of Thought Leadership and Analysis for the Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors, the largest professional body in the built and natural environment – with over 134,000 members across 147 countries.
He leads a team of analysts to provide market intelligence and insight to help policy makers in government, financial institutions and other key stakeholders working in the industry to make informed policy and business decisions. While also showcasing the positive impact that RICS and RICS members make across society, the economy and the environment.
Prior to this he was Global Director of the World Built Environment Forum, RICS’ multiformat thought leadership platform which consists of summits, webinars, podcasts and short and long form content and has a network of over 30,000 members from every corner of the globe.
Tim started his career in events back in 2008 working for organisations such as GovNet Communications and Ocean Media Group, where he led the event content team for the housing portfolio which included industry leading events such as Housing, Homes and the Inside and Social Housing Conference and Awards portfolio.
In his spare time, he can be found cycling, in many of London’s pubs, watching his beloved Manchester City and being a father to his 3-year-old son.
