What makes an award-winning event?

Just ahead of the C&IT Awards Early Bird deadline (25th May) two previous judges reveal what makes a winning entry.

Juliet Tripp, now at Make Events, and Nicola Roodt of 1up in Events, sat down last year to discuss some of the best entries they'd see at the 2021 judging day. From a judges' perspective, they also reveal what it takes to create an award-winning entry for this year's C&IT Awards.

There’s just over two weeks left to get your entries in for the C&IT Awards 2022, for a chance to be recognised as an innovator and leader in the industry.

Key dates entrants need to note are:

  • Standard Deadline: Wednesday 8 June 2022

  • Shortlist Announcement: Monday 11 July 2022

There are numerous categories to choose from, meaning there’s something for everyone.  Categories include Industry Sector; Event Format; Event Purpose; Supplier; Best of the Best; A-lister and Corporate A-lister of the Year; and the coveted Grand Prix award.

“The C&IT Awards are noted as the most prestigious awards in the industry - winners are recognised by a diverse panel of industry experts purely on their outstanding achievements -  and the level of innovation that has been apparent in live, virtual and hybrid events over the last year is certainly something to celebrate,” said Calum Di Lieto, Editor of C&IT.

"I look forward to seeing the entries!"
