In June 2017 he joined C&IT as Editor and has steered its evolution as it has gone from strength to strength. Whether it’s watched, read or listened to, Calum always ensures that the audience is at the heart of every piece of content that is produced.
This has led to increased engagement and the growth of C&IT internationally. The brand is now distributed to event planners in the UK, USA and APAC region.
Calum speaks publicly and shares C&IT's data-led research and findings across the world. He's taken the stage at large industry shows in places such as London, Vegas, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Melbourne and Penang.
In 2019 Calum was recognised by Eventex as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry. A year prior to this, his work on C&IT resulted in him being recognised as one of the Professional Publishers Association's New Talent 30 under 30, and Meetings & Events Editor of the Year at the British Travel Journalism Awards.

In 2000, Brian Ludwig joined Cvent shortly after the company was founded. He began his career with the start-up company as a top producing sales executive and was responsible for some of Cvent’s most notable client acquisitions. When the dot-com meltdown hit, Brian played a key role in helping the company turn things around and get back on its feet.
Today, Cvent has become a leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform with more than 2,700 employees worldwide which has helped over 28,000 organisations manage over a million events in more than 100 countries. On November 29, 2016, Cvent announced it had been acquired by Vista Equity Partners. In addition, Cvent and Lanyon Solutions announced the merger of their two companies, creating a global meeting, event and travel technology leader.
Over the past decade, Brian has worked up the ladder at Cvent and is currently the Senior Vice President of Sales. With his hard work, perseverance and leadership, he has been able to create two of the company’s most successful global sales divisions. Brian is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and marketing initiatives for Cvent’s flagship event management solution and CrowdCompass, one of the industry’s leading app provider for corporate and business events.
