CloseCharley was voted Chair of South Bank Venues in 2013.
Charley started her career by completing three ski/summer seasons as a resort rep and host on a catamaran. After returning, and using experience she had gained, she proceeded to work for three years as a freelance event manager with some of the most known outdoor catering companies in London, including Mustard, Smart Hospitality and Moving Venue.
Her first full time events position was with the National Theatre back in 2008 as an Event Manager, which she loved. In 2010 she was offered a great job with a big outdoor events company called Best Parties Ever/ Tapenade where she ran parts of Essex Polo, Cartier Polo, Paris Air Show and two Christmas sites with up to 1600 guests per night. Two years later Charley was invited back to the National Theatre and jumped at the chance. She now proudly heads up the team as Head of Hospitality Events and Commercial Business Development.
