Prior to this Alex headed up the Digital Events and Video team, which he launched within Haymarket in 2008 and which has grown rapidly since its inception. The team output a broad range of content from webcasts through to animated video, whitepapers, online training resources and websites. Before this Alex worked within Haymarket’s Conferences department for 3 years.
In the days before joining Haymarket, Alex headed up his own marketing consultancy, Attention Seekers, which offered innovative solutions for clients keen to engage with the youth market.
With over 20 years of B2B marketing experience in the technology industry, David Chalmers is the Marketing Director for Europe at Cvent. He is based at the company’s London office and is an expert in many areas in the marketing mix including, events, e-marketing, automation, integrated marketing communications and digital/social media. In addition, he has a deep knowledge of using technology on the live event experience, as well as leveraging digital and social media to promote events, drive attendance and increase audience engagement. David has previously spoken at Confex, Global Events Summit, Adtech, I-Strategy and IDM B2B Summit as well as leading a Campaign Insight (previously Brand Republic) webinar.

Vincent co-founded Telefónica Digital’s new operating business, Standing on Giants, which runs online forum communities that bring a touch of magic to the interaction between customer and brand.
