A recent C&IT discussion panel, held in partnership with sister brand Third Sector and event specialist Cvent, shone a light on the importance of making human connections in the new era of virtual and hybrid – and how to get the right events mix going forward. 

Third Sector editor Emily Burt hosted the conversation between experts working across the charity, education, charity and general events sectors. Daniel Larcey, head of mass participation at NHS Charities Together, Sarah Marshall, global head of content at Bett, and Claudia Stephenson, managing director of INVNT Group EMEA, discussed how to maintain engagement when mixing in-person and online events, the challenges of creating a truly hybrid happening, and how getting virtual right could help boost sustainability and broaden your reach.
