The 2022 Super Bowl is arguably one of the world’s biggest hybrid events, but what can event planners learn from its success?
Is it the biggest event in the world? Many would argue yes, with fans waiting in anticipation all year, half-time show line ups announced months in advance, and social media blowing up with memes and hot takes for weeks on either side of the annual playoff championship game.
“People watch the Super Bowl for mainly three reasons,” says Juliet Tripp, Group Strategy Director at Make Events. “Firstly, the halftime show, second the adverts (yes, seriously!), and lastly, the game!”
