How laser tag in an empty hotel sparked a return to events

General manager Andrew Coney of The Hari hotel in Belgravia, central London, reveals how he's managed to stay positive during the pandemic, helped staff remain upbeat, all while working with the local community and charities.

Coney explains why his staff have been running around the property playing laser tag, as well as teambuilding activities that have included a bake-off challenge, a Strava run, a fancy dress night, portrait painting sessions and food masterclasses.

He also talks about the work he and the hotel have been doing in the local community and charities.

C&IT caught up with Coney as he began opening the doors to guests, just as The Hari announced a significant expansion into a Hong Kong property.
